Bible Verses about 'Romans 12'

  • Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
  • Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
  • For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
  • For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
  • Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
  • Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
  • Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
  • Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
  • Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
  • Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
  • Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
  • If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
  • Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
  • Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
  • This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.
  • Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
  • Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
  • The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
  • Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
  • Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.
  • The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
  • Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
  • One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.
  • If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’
